Overview

The dungeon, Ouwigahara, is the backbone of the mid to late game. It opens at level 65 and turns Project Slayers 2 into a scoring game, where the cards you take matter more than the floor you reach. Start with the unlock route before your first run.

Solo Dungeon Walkthrough

A solo walkthrough is the fastest way to learn the layout. The video covers the unlock chain, the wave patterns and the card choices that keep a run alive, which is exactly the knowledge that separates a short attempt from a profitable endgame loop.

Unlocking the Ouwigahara Dungeon

The unlock is a quest chain rather than a level gate alone. Reach level 65, travel to Hidden Mist Village and speak to the NPC who talks about his second forge. Accept the quest, then follow the objective markers through the forge search toward Mistfall Harbor Shrine.

The entrance sits past the shrine. Cross the bridge near Shinobu's spawn, continue over the wooden bridge and look for the portal near the Forgotten Ruins, which also opens the path to Togane's V2 forge. Bring Wall Climb for the approach, and treat a mount as optional.

1

Reach level 65

Dungeons make sense around this level. Entering much earlier usually ends in a wipe rather than points.

2

Talk to the blacksmith

In Hidden Mist Village, choose the second forge conversation, accept the quest and let the markers guide the search.

3

Travel to Mistfall Harbor Shrine

Use the shrine as your reference point, then cross the bridge near Shinobu's spawn.

4

Cross the wooden bridge

Continue toward the portal near the Forgotten Ruins. Wall Climb covers any ledge on the approach.

5

Enter and pick your cards

The first wave starts quickly, so decide your early card priorities before the run actually begins.

Do not enter with M1 attacks alone. One or two unlocked breathing or Blood Demon Art moves make the first floors far more manageable.

Dungeon Requirements and Rewards

Everything on this table comes from community dungeon guides rather than from a menu screen. The requirements are simple, but the point economy is what actually decides how much you take out of a run. Read it before spending points on mastery or gear.

Gear affects how many dungeon points you earn, so a cheap loadout can quietly cut your score. Upgrade damage before chasing cosmetic drops.

Card and Build Priorities

Cards are the real progression system inside a run. Permanent point multipliers such as Lucky Draw, Streak and Ascension are worth taking early, because they raise everything that follows. Damage beats most other stats, since clearing waves faster protects the multipliers you already hold.

The build itself is flexible. Any breathing style or Blood Demon Art works, so there is no wrong pick for the content, and one or two unlocked moves are enough to start. Group enemies together and use area attacks instead of fighting them one at a time.

Milestone bosses break up the waves and test whether your setup holds. A well-built run can bank over 100,000 points in roughly an hour and a half, while a poorly planned one stalls near floor 50. Points then buy Nightfall-tier gear and materials.

Take multipliers first

Lucky Draw, Streak and Ascension raise every point you earn for the rest of the run.

Prioritise damage

Damage clears waves faster, which protects your multiplier stack better than defence does.

Group the enemies

Pull packs together so a single area attack lands on several targets at once.

Bank your points

Spend on mastery, equipment and crafting materials rather than low-value drops.

A run that reaches a modest floor with strong multipliers usually beats a deep run with none. Score comes from the cards, not the floor number.

Solo Strategy That Works

Solo runs are viable once you understand pacing. Do not sprint ahead of the wave timer, because extra enemies pile onto a fight you already started. Clear each group completely, then move, and keep your leveling momentum for open-world content instead.

Gear quality changes your score as much as your skill does. Better weapons and armour increase the points a run generates, so the first few clears are partly an investment. Once the loop is stable, dungeons become the main source of endgame progression.

Dungeon Run Checklist

Prepare everything before you queue. Level 65, an unlocked move or two, Wall Climb and a full stack of consumables cover almost every failure case. The equipment guide explains which upgrades reliably raise your score before the first wave starts.

Once inside, the routine is simple. Take permanent multipliers, keep damage high, group enemies, survive milestone bosses and bank points every run. Players who follow the mastery guide usually spend those points on weapon mastery first, since it never finishes on its own.

  • Level 65 and the second forge quest finished
  • Wall Climb unlocked, plus a mount if you have one
  • At least one breathing or Blood Demon Art move
  • A full stack of healing consumables
  • Card priority chosen before the first wave
  • A plan for spending every Dungeon Point
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What level do dungeons unlock?

Ouwigahara opens at level 65. Community guides suggest entering around that point rather than pushing far past it, because the content is tuned for a fresh mid-game build.

How do I unlock the dungeon?

Reach level 65 and speak to the blacksmith NPC in Hidden Mist Village about his second forge. Finish that quest chain, then head for the portal near the Forgotten Ruins.

Where is the dungeon entrance?

It sits past Mistfall Harbor Shrine. Cross the bridge near Shinobu's spawn, continue over the wooden bridge and look for the portal near the Forgotten Ruins.

Which cards should I take first?

Permanent point multipliers such as Lucky Draw, Streak and Ascension come first, because they lift every point earned afterwards. Take damage over other stats once those are secured.

Can I solo the dungeon?

Yes. Solo runs work once you have one or two unlocked moves, decent gear and the patience to clear each wave instead of rushing ahead of the timer.

What do Dungeon Points buy?

Points go toward weapon mastery, equipment and crafting materials, and they feed the forge system that produces upgraded V2 weapons at Togane's Nichirin Forge.

How many points can a good run earn?

A well-built run can bank more than 100,000 points in roughly ninety minutes, while a poorly planned attempt may stall near floor 50 with far less to show.
